Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program

Keeper & Legacy offers the Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program as a free firearm-safety program for children. The program teaches children what to do if they ever encounter a firearm:

STOP!

Don’t Touch.

Run Away.

Tell a Grown-Up.

This is a non-live-fire children’s safety program. Children do not handle firearms or ammunition during the program.

Sessions are separated by grade level so the material can be presented in an age-appropriate format:

• Pre-K & Kindergarten — approximately 30 minutes

 • 1st–2nd Grade — approximately 45 minutes

 • 3rd–4th Grade — approximately 45 minutes

Each session is limited to 10 participating children.

A parent or guardian completes the registration on behalf of the child.

During registration, you will be asked to provide the participating child’s name exactly as you would like it printed on their certificate, along with the child’s grade.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend. Adults do not count against the 10-child class capacity.

Cost: FREE

Classes may be held at churches, schools, Keeper & Legacy, or other community locations. The specific date, time, and location will be provided when registration opens. This class is currently available but not yet scheduled.
